Elizabeth primarily practices in the areas of family law, involving pre and post dissolution matters, paternity and adoption. She also has experience with social security, disability, guardianships of children and disabled adults, and all areas of juvenile law. Following her six years with the LaSalle County State’s Attorney Office, she entered private practice and joined The Cantlin Law Firm in 1990. Elizabeth has taught a number of seminars centering on juvenile law and has provided pro bono services for the LaSalle County Conflicts Panel as well as Prairie State Legal Services.

Her Professional associations include the LaSalle County Bar Association (past President) and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is also involved in Eastern Star and the American Legion.

Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1971, and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Illinois Institute of Technology – Kent College of Law in 1980. Elizabeth was licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Illinois in 1980 and earned Bar Admission to the United States.
